Graceful Lady of the High Wire

One of Russia's preminent high-wire artists, Marina Osinskaya is beauty grace and consummate skill in motion. She appears high above the circus ring on a specially designed rigging which allows her to combine, in one act, three different and difficult wire walking feats: taut wire, slack wire and inclined wire (at a 45 degree angle). This three-way wire walking display, performed in the style of a ballerina -- en pointe -- is among the most renowned and daring in the world. Her superb act opened the performance of this tour. Sergei and Marina have a daughter Katia, who enjoys gymnastics and who has become an excellant juggler under the tutelage of her father.
