Here it is: a simple ribbed hat that can be decorated with easily removable "theme" buttons to suit wearers of any persuasion (change buttons as the mood strikes you: it only takes a minute!). It can be made in conservative colours for the elegantly understated, or extravagantly bright for extroverts of the first order, and decorated with sport, hobby, or seasonal buttons to reflect the taste of any wearer. Stripe suggestions are made for 'Maple Leaf', 'Stars and Stripes', and Seuss-ian style headgear.
Size:To fit heads 18 - 23 inches.
Yarn: fingering up to sportweight, 50 - 100 grams.
Level: easy/intermediate.
